Violist

Patrik Roderer started playing the viola at age nine, and thanks to excellent tutelage, has had many opportunities to play music in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings. He recently graduated from Utah State University as a student of Bradley Ottesen in Viola Performance. Patrik has served as the principal violist in the USU Symphony Orchestra and performed as a soloist with the orchestra as a winner of the 2018-19 USU Concerto Competition. He also has a love for computers, cars, and hip-hop, and has written and performed his own rap about climate change. Patrik lives with his wife, Laurana, and their kitten, Felix.
